Plant
Installation
Once
the design phase is completed, we begin the transformation
by stripping any necessary sod, adding topsoil
to a predetermined depth(usually 6-12”).
We then incorporate Integrated Pest Management
(IPM)
Techniques to achieve the best possible weed control.
These techniques usually involve a pre-emergent
herbicide application prior to the installation
of the mulching material. We will do this during
appropriate times of the year (when weed seeds
are most likely to germinate) and based on the
contamination/safety factors in relation to the
location of the site (ie. near a well or other
water supplies like lakes, streams and ponds).

Finally,
we will install the plant material according to
the design specs and topdresss with the mulch of
your choice to give the project a clean finished
appearance. Throughout every design and construction
process, we work in close contact with you to ensure
you are fully satisfied with the final outcome.
Once completed, you will be given a Care Sheet
with detailed instruction on how to properly maintain
your investment.
